“Continuity matters to keep moving forward,” said Councilwoman Buechner “Things are moving in the right direction for Caldwell. We have completed and reopened the Irene Gibbons Health and Human Services building, we have settled the lawsuits related to the sewer plant, and we are on our way to a new town hall. There is still much to do—and I am committed to see that things keep moving forward."

Dana is a small business owner and former retail executive with almost two decades of experience managing multi-hundred-million dollar businesses. Dana has held various positions on the Jefferson School HSA board including former President where she spearheaded the building and design of the new playground.
"Caldwell is my home. I am proud to say that" said Hunkele. "I care deeply about the Caldwell of today, but more importantly the Caldwell of tomorrow. Whether it's leading initiatives to improve the quality of life for our children or managing large-scale businesses, I have a proven track record. I have shown I get things done and I get them done right."
OUR MISSION AND PLATFORM
Progress doesn’t happen overnight and Caldwell is now moving in the right direction. It takes committed leaders with experience and dedicated residents working together to achieve results. We will lead with transparency and fiscal stewardship to guide the prioritization of what’s most necessary in Caldwell right now. Financially responsible decision-making, smart rehabilitation and rebuilding of our infrastructure, retention of our small-town feel, and continued improvement of neighborly relations within our community are our commitments to you. We are asking for your support this November so we can continue moving Caldwell forward!
Communication has improved with the launch of official borough social media channels. Now we have transparency into town finances and tax-payer impact. Trust is being restored. Residents have a voice again.

Consistency in delivering stellar services is the priority. Whether it is consistency in messaging or governance, we will be consistent in everything we do, informing the residents every step of the way.

Commitment is what this job takes. We have it. We are dedicated to making Caldwell a better place to live, work, eat, play, and visit for all.
Fiscal Stewardship
We've made strides fixing the mess left to us by previous administrations. We remain committed to spend your tax dollars efficiently and wisely.
Smart Redevelopment
We must redevelop and reinvigorate our downtown – we should improve retail spaces and attract high-end retail businesses while preserving our small-town feel.
